Kit for Fingerprint Recognition by MensTecnica

 

Menstecnica proposes a compact biometric module for fingerprint recognition easily integrated in existing systems or for autonomous uses.
The module should be personalized and programmed to control relè or other actuators and to receive data from different (other) sensors.
It has on board elaboration capability.

Dimension: 4cm x 4cm; Thickness: 1cm, fingerprint sensor included.


Power: alkaline batteries or CC power supply, power tension 3.3-5V, max absorption < 100 mA.


Communication interface: SPI, I2C, RS232, (USB or other interfaces if requested).


8 GPIO: in/out programmable digital accesses (or more if requested).

Templates of fingerprints can be memorized on board or can be transferred by SPI, I2C, RS232 interface. It is possible to protect communication by encryption. If templates are on board they are also protect by encryption.

  • Data encryption by AES algorithm with a 256 bit key
  • Firmware protection against digital signature attacks
